3Q22 Housing Stats 📊

The second quarter data reveals that the 𝘿𝙚𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙩 𝘾𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨 housing market’s 🏠 shift over the past few months is evolving into a 𝙣𝙚𝙬 𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩 (my words). Inventory levels are rising noticeably 💹 year to year as well as quarterly. Furthermore, listing discounts are returning for the first time in two+ years. Homes are languishing on the market longer which eventually 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬-𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬. Even though the median closed price was notably above last year’s number, it dropped on a quarterly basis.
